This is the look of death; death by boredom
So I am itching to go back to school. The rain pelting the windows of my father’s corner office is not nearly as comforting as it would be from my bedroom. Never mind the fact that I have not cleaned my room in God-knows-what because we presently have no house help, I would rather curl up in a fetal position in my unmade bed than be stuck in a our stark office doing, well, I am at present not doing anything since all of dad’s lawyers came to work today and there is nothing to be delegated to me.
My enrolment is in a few days and classes resume after the holiday. Following Fran’s cue with her wish list blogging, here are a couple of things I need/want for the upcoming semester.
Onward to my girly consumerist inclinations!

Pumps:
For my impending initiation to the power-dressing corporate world of Lawyering. A touch of cutesy and quirky makes it a little more “me”. I have not looked around yet but I am hoping there is a suitable option available here like in Charles and Keith or something.

Waterproof Footwear:
Monsoon season is upon us and because my Law school is situated in a flood-prone area, waterproof footwear is a must for practical purposes. The great thing about these Melissa Shoes is that I do not have to sacrifice power dressing for pragmatism.

Carry-all:
I am not one of those girls who can leave the house with only a cute little envelope clutch in hand. I have a number of must-haves that should always be with me and so a huge carry-all bag is most practical because I am a little miss girl scout.

Bib Necklaces:
I seldom wear accessories but recently I find myself obsessed with these statement neck pieces. They can spruce up an otherwise dull outfit and are not a nuisance to everyday activities (unlike bangles and rings which I need to take off when I need to write something down).

So many girly wants, so little patience for shopping (and let’s face it, so little money too). Oh, the sacrifices of being a pet parent!
